With Surgery Choices, employees benefit from quick treatment and you benefit from fewer absence days.

Wellbeing Journey –

Our team of specialist wellbeing coaches, supported by our interactive digital wellbeing platform, gives your workforce the tools to take a proactive approach to their wellbeing.
This unique employee wellbeing programme takes inspiration from the elite sports methodology of ‘marginal gains’, where small sustainable changes have a positive cumulative effect on health and wellbeing. These healthier behaviours empower your people to be the best that they can be, which will help them and your business perform better.
The personalised content is accessible by all employees, anywhere, from any device, and is focused around the four pillars of Mindset, Nutrition, Movement and Recovery. The specialist coaching programmes are designed to target and support people, regardless of whether they are just thinking about change, preparing for change, or are ready to take action.

Health and Lifestyle Screenings –

We’re passionate about supporting companies and their people to take a proactive approach to health and wellbeing, thereby reducing health risks.
We offer a variety of employee health screening programmes to suit your business, from a 10 minute MOT check to a 20 minute lifestyle check.
After your employees health screenings have been carried out, we’ll provide you with a company report to help you get a clear picture of the health and wellbeing of your organisation.

Wellbeing Workshops –

Our workshops cover a wide range of topics to meet the needs of your business. We can even tailor them to create personalised packages.
Our flexible workshops can be delivered in a format to suit you, from multiple, bitesize half hour sessions to in-depth half and full day sessions. We also offer webinars to support companies with staff across multiple sites or who work remotely.
Following the workshops, we provide targeted action points to follow, along with access to our Wellbeing Resources website to help support them improve their health and wellbeing.

Mental Health First Aid –

Embedding Mental Health First Aid training into your organisation or community encourages people to talk more freely about mental health, promoting early intervention which enables recovery, reducing stigma and creating a more positive culture.

Having a qualified Mental Health First Aider in the workplace provides a point of contact for an employee who is experiencing a mental health issue or emotional distress. This interaction could range from having an initial conversation through to supporting the individual to get appropriate help. In a crisis, Mental Health First Aiders can spot the signs of mental ill health and are valuable in providing early support for someone who may be developing a mental health issue.

The two day Mental Health First Aid training course teaches practical skills that can be used every day, including being able to recognise the signs and symptoms of mental health issues and feel confident guiding people towards the right professional support. The one day MHFA Champion course and Become MHFA Aware introductory session are also available.

Gym Management –

There is no doubt that moving more and sitting less is good for our physical health. But it’s also extremely good for our mental health, as the two are closely linked. We don’t expect employees to be hitting the gym 5 days a week as for most people, that’s just not sustainable. Instead, we work with you to encourage small, positive lifestyle changes that will make a big difference to their physical and mental health over time and help to create a healthy work-life balance. Whether it’s using the gym before work, during a lunch break or after work, exercise will help your employees return to work refreshed and refocused.
We professionally manage your onsite gym providing your staff with high quality support. We’ll also work closely with you to maximise staff engagement and minimise your costs.

Health Calendar –

Choose between two ready-made annual wellbeing employee engagement programmes depending on whether you prefer an online or an offline solution.
The Wellbeing Plan is an online health promotion resource. Each month we’ll send you some text to announce the topic of the month and raise awareness, along with weekly top-tip messages to keep the monthly campaign alive, and drive engagement with the website. Your employees have unlimited access to the website, accessible from work or home, featuring 16 popular health and wellbeing topics, each with a video, podcast, series of fact sheets and a personal training plan.
With the Health Calendar, each month you’ll receive a communication pack to promote wellbeing at work which includes fact sheets, a poster, a support leaflet signposting your employees to national support agencies associated with the topic, campaign announcement text and weekly health promotion top-tip messages to keep the campaign alive – all you have to do is send out the communications.
